APA Science-oriented conferences, symposia, workshops, and meetings

The Psychology Department encourages student participation in conferences. Attending conferences and reporting research gives students an opportunity for discussion and a chance to exchange ideas. Psychology majors who talk at conferences become more articulate and persuasive speakers. In addition, students can develop a network of people who can help students learn more about psychology, graduate schools, and careers.
