Preparation for seminary requires both a breadth of background in the humanities, and a focus on the courses most relevant to your chosen area of ministry.

There are two kinds of Rel-Phil majors depending on your previous experience in church work and your plans for seminary (see Pre-Theology page).

DWU will provide the breath through the liberal arts program, including the general education courses which you will take here. The focus begins with the core of courses in the Religion-Philosophy major and with a selection of other courses which are relevant to seminary preparation and to the type of ministry you are interested in.
