Other Projects
Several other instructional technology projects are underway
that are either funded directly through the Title III grant or are
funded through other campus sources and facilitated through the Title
III grant. These include the following:
- The Jenzabar course management system (CMS) has been put in
place to provide faculty with convenient tools to facilitate online
learning. The CMS is integrated within the campus system
we call TigerNet.
- The iWebfolio electronic
portfolio system has been adopted and is now in place. The
campus is currently exploring a number of opportunities for e-portfolio
use for learning and assessment.
- We have subscribed to the Teaching
and Learning with Technology Group network. With the
membership comes access to the Flashlight
Online tools for online surveys and course evaluations.
- A Teaching
and Learning with Technology Roundtable (TLTR) now meets
bi-weekly during academic terms. The TLTR is an open forum
addressing topics related to technology and learning.
- A technology
handbook has been developed and is available for campus use.
