At DWU we see theatre as a means of creative expression that engages both audience and practitioner in a communal experience to entertain and enlighten. Through theatre we gain insight into others and ourselves.

As the producing arm of the communications and theatre department, DWU theatre's mission is to provide students with the opportunity to hone and display their talents as actors, designers, directors and technicians.

We also seek to enhance the local cultural climate by providing thought-provoking entertainment for DWU and the Mitchell community.
