Rollins Campus Center The Village is a place to gather with friends, use the computers, watch the big screen TV or sink into a comfy couch and read. Grab a quick snack from the vending machines and challenge your friends to a game of pool.
The registrar, admissions counselors and financial aid staff members are on the main floor – stop in anytime with questions or leads on friends you think would like to come to Wesleyan! The campus pastor’s office is here, as is the Wagner Chapel where chapel service is held each Thursday at 11 a.m. The campus offices are closed and there are no classes scheduled at that time. The Weston Food Court is upstairs for your dining pleasure, as well as the Knox Conference Room and the East Main Dining Room for lunch hour entertainment or larger meetings. In the lower level of the campus center, you’ll find Carol in the business office, central services (printing and mailing services), and the offices for the Phreno Cosmian (the school newspaper) and student senate. The campus center was built in 1966 and is the hub of the campus community. The building was renamed in honor of Gordon and Elsie Rollins in 1987. Rollins worked at Dakota Wesleyan University from 1946 to 1988. He was a part of the fundraising and construction processes of four buildings on campus: Allen Hall, Rollins Campus Center, Dayton Hall and Smith Hall. In 1996, Rollins was honored at the first annual Wesleyan Patrons’ Banquet for his years of service and giving to DWU.
