Christen Family Recreation/Wellness
Center, Fosness
Arena
Do you want to be a contestant in Fear This … Tiger
Factor? Do you want to join intramural athletics? Are you an NAIA
volleyball
or wrestling fan? These are all activities that go on in the wellness
center in addition to training of our intercollegiate athletes. Fosness
Arena is where you’ll find the volleyball and wrestling teams
as well as indoor soccer tournaments, koinonia (sponsored by the
Student Ministry Council), and intramural sports. All students are
invited to use the Cybex room, the free weights and the cardio equipment
housed in the wellness center. The wellness center is home to the
sports management department and has classrooms, coach offices and
an athletic training room.

The Christen Family Recreation/Wellness
Center was built in 1985. It is named after Paul and Donna
Christen who donated the initial $1
million for the construction of the building. A new wood gymnasium
floor was added in 1995, and replaced in 2000 after a severe storm
destroyed it.
