Mission Statement
The Dakota Wesleyan University Scholars Program holds students to the highest standards of excellence.

We provide unique courses and meaningful projects through which university scholars enter into multiple opportunities for personal growth and professional development.

We encourage students to determine and live by certain principles that each student holds as essential to living well and to use their talents toward the responsible advancement of human knowledge.

Students who complete all requirements of the USP and have earned at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA will be designated as a University Scholar in the Commencement program.

Designation Criteria
Complete 9 credit hours of USP courses
Complete and present a senior capstone project
Maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher
