The John Wesley Society is named after John Wesley, a scholar at Oxford
and leader of the Methodist movement. Dakota Wesleyan University derives
its very name from John Wesley and has a deep commitment to a liberal arts
education, a uniqueness that John Wesley exemplified. John Wesley Society
members are those who give $1,000 or more each year to the Wesleyan Fund.
They believe in investing in the future of Dakota Wesleyan University and
the impact that DWU students can have in accomplishing the mission of the
institution. Individuals listed have contributed $1,000 or more to the
Wesleyan Fund during the 2001-02 fiscal year (June 1, 2001 through May 31,
2002).
