Wesleyan Today

Spring 2002

a publication for alumni, family, and friends

Editor's Note

We need your stories...

In this edition of Wesleyan Today, we explore the many ways faith touches lives at Dakota Wesleyan University. As the United Methodist college for the Dakotas, we are proud of the way faith and learning are interwoven. It is our faculty in many cases who show students how their faith relates to their studies. If not for our committed, talented faculty, the student experience would be much less rich and well-rounded.

In the August edition of Wesleyan Today, we are going to focus on faculty...their styles, their quirks, their talents, their wise advice. Who touched your life?

Do you have fond memories of a particular prof? Do you remember a zany learning experience or a thought-provoking course? If you do, we want to hear from you.

Please send me your stories about faculty members past and present for this special edition. E-mail to loessig@dwu.edu, with "faculty focus" as your subject. Or, mail to me at 1200 W. University Ave., Mitchell, SD 57301. I'll need to receive your stories by June 15, 2002.

Please include your name, current address and phone number, just in case we need to ask you follow-up questions. I'd also like to know what year you attended or graduated, your major and what you're doing now.

It's possible we won't be able to print all the stories we receive, so please keep your stories short but creative, and know that they may be edited for length.

I look forward to hearing from you!
