Wrestling Women's Basketball Head coach Kevin Lein was named the GPAC Coach-of-the-Year. Randi Morgan was named the NAIA Division II National Player-of-the-Year, NAIA Division II All-American, the NAIA Division II National Tournament MVP, GPAC Player-of-the-Year and First Team All-GPAC. She finished the season with 1,332 points, moving her into fifth place on the all-time scoring list. She set records for most points (729), field goals (253), free throws (214), rebounds (425) and blocked shots (67) in a season. Emily Janssen was named Honorable Mention All-American and First Team All-GPAC. She finished her career third on the all-time scoring list with 1,536 points. She set a single game record for most points (44) and field goals (20) in a game. She was also named an NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete. Vicki Drefs was named First Team All-GPAC. Nikki Weber received Honorable Mention All-GPAC. She finished her career as the all-time leader in three-point field goals in a game (8), three-point field goals in a season (76), and in a career (187). Amanda Williams was named Honorable Mention All-GPAC. She set a single season record in steals with 82. Men's Basketball Senior Austin Ledeboer was named All-GPAC and also Honorable Mention All-American. He finished his career 10th on the all-time leading scoring list with 1,739 points. Rich Crow Eagle was named Honorable Mention All-GPAC. Clay Dellos and Kelly Pfeifer were named NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes. Women's Golf Abbey DeWolf finished second at the Northwestern College Invitational. She was also 10th at the NAIA Region IV Tournament with 181. Julie Roberts tied for 11th at the NAIA Region IV Tournament with 182. Men's Golf Rich Crow Eagle finished tied for ninth with a two-day total of 155. Dave Backlund finished in a tie for 17th, shooting157. Baseball Jacoby Marshall was named First Team All-GPAC. He threw the first no-hitter in DWU history and then followed it with a one-hitter. He also threw 27 consecutive scoreless innings. He was the GPAC Pitcher-of-the-Week and was a two-time Region IV Pitcher-of-the-Week. Luke Norden was named Second Team All-GPAC. Team members named Honorable Mention All-GPAC were Mike Armstrong, Zach Watkins, Cody Palmer, Taylor Gantt and Ryan Oliver. Track and Field Austine Kiragu, Matt Hein, Kelly Skatvold and Eric Lustig finished fifth in the 3,200-meter relay at the GPAC Championship. The DWU women's track and field team set school records in the javelin, hammer throw, weight throw, 60-meter dash, 300-meter dash, 300-yard dash, 600-meter dash, 600-yard dash and the 1,000-yard run. Krystal Schneider qualified for the NAIA National Tournament in the discus event. She finished second at the GPAC Championship with a throw of 130' 9". Dakota Wesleyan University |
