One strength of Dakota Wesleyan University has always been its solid academic record. As evidenced by their advanced degrees and impressive employment, our graduates have done well with their DWU degrees.

Additional evidence of our high academic quality is the caliber of our teaching faculty. An increasing number have earned doctorates in their fields, with a recent addition of five you can read about in this issue. Our faculty continue to raise the bar of expectations for students in the classroom.

This fall, the South Dakota Department of Education and Cultural Affairs conducted a review of our education department. The reviewers were impressed with not only our education department, but also with the departments that support our secondary education majors. With an upcoming review of our nursing department, we are confident that two of our largest majors will receive re-accreditation.
