Daniel L. Miller, associate professor of theatre and theatre director, has been teaching at Dakota Wesleyan since 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Dakota. He was instrumental in bringing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree to Dakota Wesleyan. His recent directing credits include “Godspell,” “Always, Patsy Cline,” “Bedroom Farce,” and “Les Misérables” for DWU; and the musical “Spamalot” for the Sioux Empire Community Theatre in Sioux Falls.  Miller’s production of “Spamalot” garnered awards from BroadwayWorld.com including Best Director and Best Musical for 2015. In addition, Miller is an active performer. Most recently performing in the original drama, “Spiders in the Night,” written by DWU alumnus, James VanOrt.
