Education History: Dakota Wesleyan University (Associate of Science in Nursing), Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ (BS and Masters in Nursing with an emphasis in nursing education)
Professional History: Renée teaches theory, lab, simulation, and clinical. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked in Same-Day Surgery, Emergency Department, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Hobbies: Renée loves being with family, making them laugh, cheering them on in their various activities, and being their biggest fan. Family game nights and movie nights are some of her favorites! She loves spending time with her husband, John! She also enjoys crafting, writing, reading, and listening to music.
Family: Husband (John), and 6 wonderful children (4 girls and twin boys; Trinity, Bella, Dawson, Elijah, Londyn, & Amirrah.)
What do you love most about DWU?: As alumni of DWU, I am excited to be back on campus as an educator! I'm grateful for the education I received and the values that were instilled in me through this University. I love the Christ-centered culture of DWU and the spirit of leadership and service.
