WHO PLANS THE TIGERTHON?  Good question reader!  The Tigerthon is student-run and becomes part of the largest student run philanthropy in the country!  We have a board of students who cover the areas of Marketing and Public Relations, Recruitment, Finances, Business Communication, Participant Relations, Family Communication, and Morale Captain.  We also have a group of students who are Morale Captains and are involved the day of the event, leading groups and keeping the energy high!

If you want to be involved in one of these roles in the future, click the Contact tab in the Navigation Bar and shoot us an e-mail!

WHO CAN BE INVOLVED?Anyone can donate to the event!  However, the event is primarily for individuals affiliated with Dakota Wesleyan University and Mitchell High School as we are the first University in the state to have a co-operative event between a University and High School (which we think is pretty darn neat)!  If you aren't affiliated with either of these groups don't fret; even if you aren't affiliated or live hundreds of miles away and making it to the event is out of the question, you can sign up as a Spirit Dancer to raise funds on your own and support CMN kids in spirit!
Dakota Wesleyan University was named to the 2013 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. This designation is the highest honor a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement.
Dakota Wesleyan University is proudly affiliated with the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church. Members of any and all faiths are welcome and encouraged to experience an education based on learning, leadership, faith and service.
Dakota Wesleyan University has been honored as a College of Distinction through demonstration of excellence in these areas: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities and successful outcomes.
