This database contains full text for nearly 640 science encyclopedias, reference books, periodicals, etc. Topics covered include: biology, chemistry, earth & space science, environmental science, health & medicine, history of science, life science, physics, science & society, science as inquiry, scientists, technology and wildlife.
Citations are available for all journals published by Elsevier. Full-text of over 200 titles subscribed to by USD are available as well. This resource is provided to us by funding from the BRIN grant (via USD).

This database is the product of an alliance among international scientific institutions and is operated by the United States Department of Energy. It can be searched in many languages and offers translations. It also offers a list of all the institutional collections included and is a focused federated tool that searches across all of these holdings. The materials offered include conference papers, articles, and other documents not readily found on the surface web.
