Earn college credits for the Course of Study (COS) program.
Join this unique program which allows licensed local pastors and those currently completing the coursework to become a licensed local pastor to earn college credits for the Course of Study (COS) program. Course of Study is a 20-course program that educates licensed local pastors in the Methodist church. There are dozens of affiliates that administer the COS. DWU will grant up to 24 credits for scholars who have, or are currently, completing COS from any qualified affiliate.
Credits granted can be applied toward DWU's online degree programs. Scholars can choose to complete a 100% online associate or bachelor's degree in either Nonprofit Administration or Organizational Leadership.

General Board of Higher Education and Ministry
Applications open December 15th and will close March 24th.
Interested students should complete a general application form. GBHEM will match the applicant to the scholarship that best fits his or her needs.
United Methodist Higher Education Foundation
Interested students should complete a general application form. UMHEF will match the applicant to the scholarship that best fits his or her needs.
Dollars for Scholars is a unique source of funding with its own applcation process. Applications close in March annually. Note: Students may be eligible for both a general scholarship and a Dollars for Scholars awa
Local Foundations
Check with your local Methodist Foundation. Your conference may also have scholarship money available.
