Education History: Lewis and Clark College (BS degree), Idaho State University (MS degree and Doctorate of Arts degree)
Professional History: Mullican currently serves as second vice president and webmaster for the South Dakota Academy of Science and holds membership in the Wildlife Society, the American Society of Mammalogists, Great Plains Natural Science Society, Sigma Xi and Phi Kappa Phi. Mullican’s research focuses on small mammal ecology and he has recently conducted a study on the status of the Bear Lodge meadow jumping mouse in the Black Hills of South Dakota with the help of the South Dakota Wildlife Action Plan Grant. Mullican has received the Professional Excellence award for faculty at DWU twice.
