Business Administration Student

AARON AHMADU ’19, of Houston, Texas, majored in business finance and made an impact as a guard for the men’s basketball team. Known by students as a creative rapper, Aaron recorded his first album at DWU and following graduation will start his own record label.

Seth Soesbe '19

Seth Soesbe '19

Entrepreneurial Leadership Student

SETH SOESBE ’19, of Box Elder, S.D., as an entrepreneurial leadership major with a concentration in building construction, was the first student to graduate through a DWU and Mitchell Technical Institute partnership. He took first place at the Student Idea Competition for his invention, RoboCon, a self-driving robot to fasten subfloor panels, and was awarded a Small Business Innovation Research FAST grant his senior year. Following graduation, Seth has plans to expand his business, Soesbe Contracting, and apply to graduate school.

Nicole Nelson ’19

Elementary Education Student

NICOLE NELSON ’19, of Platte, S.D., majored in elementary education with a minor in music. She was involved in Student Ministry Council, Future Teachers’ Organization, Dakota Wesleyan Choir, student ambassadors, Big Friend/Little Friend and was on the women’s golf team. She is now a fourth-grade teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in Mitchell.
