AMBER BUDMARK ’19, of Sacramento, Calif., graduated with a major in biochemistry and minor in forensic science and investigation. She is now attending Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., to pursue a masters in toxicology.

MARIA KOENEN ’19, of Rock Valley, Iowa, double majored in athletic training and biochemistry. She was named the 2019 Ms. Wesleyan and is now attending medical school at the University of South Dakota.

Elementary Education Student

NICOLE NELSON ’19, of Platte, S.D., majored in elementary education with a minor in music. She was involved in Student Ministry Council, Future Teachers’ Organization, Dakota Wesleyan Choir, student ambassadors, Big Friend/Little Friend and was on the women’s golf team. She is now a fourth-grade teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in Mitchell.
