Entrepreneurial Leadership degree with a Concentration in Construction

Explore the Possibilities

The Bachelor of Science degree in entrepreneurial leadership at Dakota Wesleyan with a residential construction or drafting/commercial construction concentration from Mitchell Technical Institute combines the best of two worlds: hands-on construction education at MTI, combined with entrepreneurial leadership education focusing on problem-solving, communication and business skills from DWU.

This program may take a student as much as five years to complete, therefore does not fall under the university’s four-year guarantee.

This program is for you if you want to pursue a career in the construction field, have an interest in managing or owning your own company, or want to understand the business of construction.

“There is a present and ever-growing need in the construction industry for qualified and educated individuals who are prepared to hit the ground running and become futureleaders. The joint effort between DWU and MTI to create this unique program will provide a great opportunity for future generations to gain the knowledge and skill set to become successful and productive leaders in our industry.” — Doug McCune, Operations manager at Puetz Corporation, Mitchell
