Opperman Lecture

Join us for the 2026 Opperman Lecture featuring Terry Grindstaff, DWU Class of 1999. The event will take place on Friday, October 9, at 11 a.m. in the Tiger Café at the McGovern Library. Free and open to all. You can attend in person or watch virtually at www.dwu.edu/live.
The Opperman Lecture series began in 1996 with an endowment by Dwight Opperman, who attended DWU in 1947-48. Opperman funded the lecture to bring distinguished alumni back to DWU to share their experiences with students.
