Solar Quest is a planetarium short feature that demonstrates and provides an overview of the Sun – Earth environment. Through detailed, high-quality animations and videos, the show illustrates solar phenomena such as nuclear fusion, light energy, and solar surface features and phenomena. Viewers will learn how space weather can impact Earth and how our planet’s atmosphere and magnetic field protect all life. The program also highlights the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) and how scientists use its data to identify and predict severe space weather events.
