Join DWU Astronomy professors Dr. Farney and Dr. Lubben for NASA’s International Observe the Moon Night.
Explore the moon through multiple telescopes and use interpretive posters to locate famous lunar landmarks and Apollo lunar landing sites. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to operate the Mitchell Public Library’s telescope.
Younger visitors can enjoy hands-on activities, and a short full-dome video about lunar rocks will be shown in the Florence Glenny Farney Planetarium Dome.
