Location: DWU Sherman Center

Five performing ensembles at Dakota Wesleyan University will perform their Spring Music Concert this weekend and all are welcome.

The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music at Dakota Wesleyan will perform a free concert at 4 p.m. this Sunday, April 28, in the Sherman Center. This concert is open to the public and will feature the Dakota Dynamics, Highlanders, Singing Scotchmen, Wesleyan Band and Wesleyan Bells.

The program has different genres from Disney to the Beatles, including “Stacy’s Mom” by the Wesleyan Bells, “Let it Go” by the Highlanders, “Here Comes the Sun” by the Dakota Dynamics, and “Star Wars Heroes” by the Wesleyan Band.

“Our Spring Music Concert is designed to entertain every audience,” said Dr. Clinton Desmond, choral director at DWU. “It’s light, it’s fun and it’s a great way to end the school year.”
