DWU named to Prairie Business list of 2024's 50 Best Places to Work
DWU has once again been named to the Prairie Business magazine’s list of 50 Best Places to Work for 2024.
MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan University has once again been named to the Prairie Business magazine’s list of 50 Best Places to Work for 2024. The list was announced Sept. 6.
Employees throughout the region nominated their companies, highlighting some of the reasons they believe make their place of business a great place to work. Topics included workplace culture, opportunities for employee growth, teamwork and individual responsibility, and employee morale, among others.
In all, Prairie Business received more than 1,700 nominations. Seven of the fifty have locations in South Dakota.
“We are excited to see so many participants in this year’s contest,” said Prairie Business Editor Carrie McDermott. “It is good to see the many companies who have been here before, but also to see some new names on the list. This goes to show that there definitely are some great companies in our region.”
DWU president Dan Kittle is appreciative of the honor. “DWU is very intentional in its efforts to continuously improve employee culture and find new ways to reward our hard-working employees. That they take time from their busy schedules to write nominations for their employer shows how dedicated and involved they are in helping to make Dakota Wesleyan a truly great place to work.”
This year’s 50 Best are highlighted in the September issue of the magazine, which also is available as an e-edition at prairiebusinessmagazine.com.
