DWU named to Prairie Business list of 2025's 50 Best Places to Work
DWU has once again been named to Prairie Business magazine’s list of 50 Best Places to Work for 2025.
MITCHELL — Dakota Wesleyan University has once again been named to Prairie Business magazine’s list of 50 Best Places to Work for 2025. The list was announced Sept. 5.
Employees throughout the region nominated their companies, highlighting some of the reasons they believe make their place of business a great place to work. Topics included workplace culture, opportunities for employee growth, teamwork and individual responsibility and employee morale, among others.
In all, Prairie Business received more than 1,600 nominations. Five of the fifty have locations in South Dakota.
“We are always excited to see so many participants in the annual contest,” said Prairie Business Editor Carrie McDermott. “It is good to see the many companies that have been here before, but also to see new names on the list. This goes to show that there are some great companies in our region.”
DWU president Dan Kittle appreciates the designation. “This has been an ongoing honor for DWU for several years. We value our employees, and we are pleased to see that once again, they communicate their satisfaction with their workplace by completing the annual survey. Thanks to Prairie Business for providing this opportunity for DWU to celebrate as one of the ‘Best Places to Work.’”
This year’s 50 Best are highlighted in the September issue of the magazine, which also is available as an e-edition at prairiebusinessmagazine.com.
