DWU to host Scholarship Day competition
High school students are invited to compete for valuable scholarships at the Spring Scholarship Day on Friday, Feb. 16.
MITCHELL – High school students interested in enrolling at Dakota Wesleyan University in August 2024 are invited to compete for valuable scholarships at the Spring Scholarship Day on Friday, Feb. 16. Scholarships awarded will included Randall Scholarships valued at $100,000 over four years and Presidential Leadership Scholarships valued at $84,000 over four years.
To be considered for the competition, students must apply and be accepted to the university and submit a service and leadership resumé and a letter of reference. If selected, the student will be invited to interview with members of the DWU faculty and staff. All materials should be submitted and applications completed by Feb. 9.
Spring Scholarship Day begins at 8 a.m. with registration, time for individual interviews, an academic activity and a noon awards luncheon. Family members are welcome to attend and are invited to the luncheon with their student.
