LyricWood concert scheduled for March 17
The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music at DWU will present LyricWood Orchestra in concert on Sunday, March 17, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center.
MITCHELL – The Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Music at Dakota Wesleyan University will present LyricWood Orchestra in concert on Sunday, March 17, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center. Admission is free.
Musical selections by John Ireland and Evelyn Glennie will be performed. The final pieces will be a collection of Irish music.
LyricWood is conducted by Jason T.Laczkoski, instructor of instrumental music, and directed by Elizabeth Soladay, instructor of piano, organ and strings.
Upcoming events include the Ron and Sheilah Gates Department of Theatre’s production of “Head Over Heels” March 15-17 and 22-24 in the Black Box Theatre.
The annual Spring Concert is scheduled for Sunday, April 21, at 4 p.m. in the Sherman Center.
Also on that date will be the first ever DWU Performing Arts Hall of Fame and Awards banquet. The event will be held in the School of Business, Innovation and Leadership at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20. Contact Corbin Kramer at 605-995-2658 or email corbin.kramer@dwu.edu for more information.
