The Musicks will be honored at a special ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the School of Business, Innovation and Leadership Building at Dakota Wesleyan University, located at 1200 W. University Ave. in Mitchell.

Roger and Vicki Musick have long been champions of transformative philanthropy, creating a profound impact on education and the community of Mitchell, South Dakota. Through their visionary leadership and commitment to local educational institutions, they have redefined what it means to give back. Their charitable contributions, which total over $33 million, have shaped the landscape of both Mitchell Public Schools and Dakota Wesleyan University.

Among their most notable contributions are historic gifts that have sustained critical programs, such as free full-day pre-K, after-school enrichment programs, scholarships and advanced teacher training. These initiatives have directly benefited thousands of students, families, and educators in Mitchell, creating opportunities for future generations to thrive.
