Past Productions

Hennepin Sitcom

Due to the unprecedented situation with COVID-19 and our desire to keep all patrons safe, the Ron & Sheilah Gates department of theatre at Dakota Wesleyan University is unable to produce our traditional plays and musicals. Instead, we have opted to create and record this sitcom in an effort to continue with our acting, directing, stage management and design curriculum, while at the same time creating something fun and unique during this extraordinary time in our country and world.

Many safety precautions are taken in the creation of this sitcom. Temperatures are always taken and recorded, hands are always being sanitized and masks are always worn in rehearsals. While filming you will notice that at many times our actors are socially distanced or a scene is shot in such a way as to not show masks worn as other actors speak. Please remember that television is not our forte...we are theatre folk! In any case, we hope you enjoy our original series.
