Our Academic and Career Services Center is here to help you find and use your strengths, connect your talents with your educational goals and give you the clarity and focus you need to succeed well after you graduate from DWU.

We can also help you choose your major, find the tutoring you need, land an internship and more. The Academic and Career Services Center is located on second floor of the McGovern Library,  so be sure to check us out when you visit!

Finding Your Strengths

Tutoring

DWU provides peer tutoring to all DWU students at no cost.

We are also always looking for student tutors who are interested in building up their resumés and gaining real-world work experience with this great experience.

Internships and Part-time Jobs

The Academic and Career Services Center can help you find the internship or part-time job you need to get a rich learning experience and be successful in your future career. We partner with the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation to provide the most extensive and up-to-date opportunities and job listings available.

Activity Fair

Our Academic and Career Services Center facilitates an annual DWU Welcome Fest, which introduces DWU students to all that the community of Mitchell has to offer. It also provides an opportunity for businesses to seek part-time employees and volunteers and is a valuable event for everyone who attends.

Help Finding A Job After Graduation

We have resources you can use to find a job after you graduate. The Academic and Career Service Center can help you build your resume and practice interview skills.
