Residence Hall Details
When you are going to live in a new place, it makes sense that you would want to know what it looks like, especially if this is your first time away from home.
Housing in Dayton Hall
All first years live in Dayton Hall to encourage a sense of community and to help incoming students build new friendships. Please note that all rooms in Dayton Hall have tile floors, so you may want to bring a carpet.
Women’s rooms in Dayton are usually about 12’x12’ and men’s rooms are about 15’x11’. There are common bathrooms on each floor and a common area or lounge, as well as the following amenities in each room:
- In-room A/C and heat control
- Free wi-fi
- Two twin extra-long beds with mattresses
- Two closets
- Vanity area with mirror and drawers
Laundry facilities are available in the basement of Dayton Hall at $0.50 per wash and $0.75 per dry, so remember to bring quarters!
