Program Features & Policies:
- You may have the option to participate in college athletics if you maintain nine credits at DWU (NAIA requirement) and 12 credits total.
- Courses at Mitchell Tech begin after completion of your freshman year at DWU.
- You will earn your bachelor’s degree within four years if you follow the plan created with your adviser.
- Because of this agreement, financial aid will apply to both institutions, as long as you maintain a minimum of 12 credits between both schools.
- Dakota Wesleyan University scholarships will be prorated based on credit hours enrolled at DWU.
What You Will Learn
With an Ag Business degree, you’ll obtain a variety of skill sets:
- Apply problem-solving skills to various agriculture situations
- Apply the principles of human resource management to different situations in the ag business industry
- Analyze data and draw appropriate statistical conclusions
- Describe marketing’s strategic role in an agribusiness organization and design a marketing plan for a product
- Demonstrate the ability to research, analyze, and effectively communicate knowledge of agricultural business operations through direct industry engagement and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange
- Solve real-world problems by identifying a problem and its scope, evaluating resources to address the problem, formulating alternative solutions and selecting the solution(s) most consistent with the stated objective

The Musick Family Department of Business at Dakota Wesleyan University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road, Suite 300, Overland Park, KS 66213.
