Dakota Wesleyan University is offering a new scholarship opportunity for transfer students.
If a student chooses to transfer to DWU for the spring 2020 semester, they will automatically receive a $2,020 scholarship. On top of the transfer scholarship, students will also have the opportunity to receive additional scholarships whether it be academic, athletic, fine arts, needs based, etc.
DWU’s class sizes are purposefully small, allowing for personalized attention and one-on-one connections with professors. At DWU, faculty and staff will take the time to go above and beyond to learn your name, your story and help you reach your fullest potential.
“It’s never too late to find a place that feels like home, and this transfer scholarship encompasses what it means to have a fresh start. Our whole campus community, from faculty and staff members to department leaders to students, will go above and beyond to make sure your experience at Wesleyan is one you will cherish for the rest of your life,” said Vice President of Admissions and Marketing, Fredel Thomas.
Students who have made the transfer to DWU can certainly attest to the life-transformation and possibilities that awaited them when they arrived.
“This [DWU] is more than I expected it to be. I didn’t realize I would be as close to as many people as I am,” alluded DWU transfer student, Autumn Hagen, regarding the family feel that comes with being a DWU Tiger.
DWU is transfer-friendly and makes what can be an overwhelming and lengthy process, smooth and easy. Our admissions team will review your transcript and determine the best course of action as you begin your new adventure. No question will go unanswered and when you show up on campus for the first time, you will be welcomed with open arms and warm smiles.
“Expect to learn. Expect to grow. Expect to be challenged. Expect to be fulfilled at the end of the day,” said DWU transfer student, Matthew Krall.
